This type of tour gives an opportunity not only to get acquainted with the sights of Armenia, but also to taste local dishes and drinks typical of different regions.  This tour has a menu, which you can get by request.

Arrival: Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport.

  • Day 1 —  City tour in Yerevan
  • Day 2 — Garni-Geghard- Sevan 
  • Day 3—  Sevan — Dilijan- Stepanavan
  • Day 4—  Stepanavan- Gyumri- Yerevan

Itinerary

Day 1Yerevan city tour

  • Arrival in Yerevan  at Zvartnots airport, transfer to the hotel-check in at 14:00.
  • Drive to Ararat BrandyCompany which is 100 years old (guests will test 3 types of products.)
  • Move to dry fruit market where Local farmers, bakers and food preparers come here and sell everything from fruits and vegetables to dried fruit sausages.
  • Visit to Grigor Lusavorich church, which is a complex of three buildings, a cathedral and two smaller chapels.
  • Then we will walk to Vernissage, where you can find handicrafts of Armenian artists, as well as other works of art, from there to the Republic square, Northern Avenue, Opera and Cascade.
  • Greeting dinner with national song and dance at «Yerevan Pandok».

Day 2Garni-Geghard- Sevan Lake

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Departure from Yerevan, stop in the village of Voghjaberd, near the «Charents Arch» monument, from where a wonderful view opens to Mount Ararat.
  • Visit to Garni Pagan Temple, an old Armenian pagan temple, which is the only monument preserved from the period of paganism and Hellenism in Armenia, on the right bank of the Azat River.
  • A short walk to Garni gorge, where we will see the miraculous monument «Symphony of Stones» created by nature.
  • Lunch in Garni, here we will taste local dishes and the most delicious gata in the region.
  • Visit to Geghard monastery complex. Listening to the duduk, entertaining the gata at the entrance.
  • Drive to Sevan Lake, visiting Sevanavank Monastery. Here we will taste Khorovats fish and have a Boat trip on Lake Sevan. 
  • Check in Noy Land resort.

Day 3 Sevan - Dilijan- Stepanavan

  • Breakfast at the hotel- check out.
  • Drive to Dilijan -city tour,
  • Visit to Haghartsin Monastery, which is considered to be one of the best examples of Armenian monasteries, rich in engineering solutions and art.
  • Visit to Goshavank, which was built during 12th-13th centuries. One of the prominent religious, educational and cultural centers in Armenia.
  • Picnic on the bank of Tandzut river.
  • Drive to Lori Fortress.
  • Overnight in Stepanavan.

Day 4 Stepanavan- Gyumri- Yerevan

  • Breakfast at the hotel -Check out
  • Drive to Gyumri, the second largest city of Armenia. Here we will have an opportunity to visit three different museums and discover the 18th-19th century unique  architecture, cuisine and be part of the century-old traditions of pottery making and the magic of clay work.  
  • Visit one of most celebrated beer factories in Armenia, which is located in Gyumri.
  • Drive to Gyumri  or Yerevan International Airpor.
